Pillars moved up and down quickly, going over the brush that lay on the dead forest floor as the night stained wench 3 beated through the forest. Fire danced behind the slate of ice that had formed inside her pools as branches clawed at her hide. Long, silky chained flew behind her and sweat clung to her pelt while barrel moved in and out heavily as her nares flared, taking in the muggy air. Behind her came the yaps of wolves closing in on their prey. The wench’s weight shifted to her right as did her nimble limbs, taking her onto a well worn path. Skulla turned lightly to the side letting her glance behind her. Snorting as she saw that two more had joined the pack she pressed forward. Before her a rotting tree lay on the forest floor, jagged branches jutting from its moss cover sides. Wings’s pace slowed and cold pools searched quickly for another path, but there wasn’t one. Audits turned backwards listening to the nearing yaps. Fear overtook her once hard expression but was quickly shaken away as it arrived. As she neared the log she realized that it was much bigger that she had thought. Pools closed and forelimbs lifted from the path and strong back limbs pushed off. Branches clawed at her soft under-belly as she left the ground. Forelimbs left their tucked place against her chest and stretched out in front of her while her back daggers slammed into the log and branches, causing her to fall forward. Velvets parted and a scream of anger and pain left her as her bodice met the loam floor. Nares flared and audits swiveled listening to the rustling of the leaves. Pools snapped open and the fire within them grew melting away the ice wall. Daggers slid into the sod as she stood to face the five wolves as they emerged from the trees, cornering her. The alpha male, a large ebon timber wolf, stepped forward; lips raised baring his fangs and released a blood curling growl, his dark optics never leaving her. My fate is to die here today She thought as audits slammed against her skulla. But not without a fight She added as her weight shifted to her hindquarters and forelimbs lifted from the earth. Velvets parted and a scream of fury left her bodice. For the first time she let her emotions show and a crazed look settled onto her pretty skulla and lips curled into a smirk. Thrusting forward she snapped forward at the alpha male, who quickly moved, and snappers closed don onto the alpha female’s boa as she too jumped forward. A howl of pain escaped her as the equine wench clamped down harshly crushing her jugular. Wings dropped the wolfess as she felt fangs dig into her rump. Snorting she bolted forward only to find herself in even more danger. When they had heard the wolfess’s cry of pain three more females had come and now the pack stood circled around the wench. Whipcords slapped against her ebon hide as pools moved from one wolf to the other trying to think of a way to escape and live. Mocha pools slowly iced over again when she realized she wouldn’t be able to escape. Screaming out again she rocked back onto her haunches.
